Perhaps this one is a little too idealistic and patriotic, but it really portrays how I felt about what happened in New York. Actually, "America is a fist" is a quote from one of Salmon Rushdie's books. I did that on purpose.
With this cartoon I discovered how difficult it is to freelance. With my friends' encouragement I tried to run it in the local papers, all to no avail. That's why I love The Synapse. They'll deal with my irregular sizes and unprofessional look. Hooray for small papers!
